Thank you for this thread. I work from home so it's the online purchases I really need to keep in check over the next year.
Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path. My mind is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the way to a just and right resolution. Amen.0 -

I'm finally going to join! Am feeling really inspired at the moment. Always felt a bit funny about joining in the challenges as I have mental health issues and struggle to keep involved and posting. I tend to lurk and read loads as I don't know anyone on here anymore and am rubbish at building friendships.
Hi Alleycat
You're not the only one, I'm sure. I'm rubbish on forums. Spend ages on them then don't go on for days/weeks. I have enough trouble maintaining relationships in the flesh, so view forum people as colleagues and acquaintances. That stops me feeling guilty when I don't make contact for a while.0 -
It's the first time I've come across this thread and I'm quite interested in joining in if that would be ok?
How do people work out the number of NSDs they want? Is it just a number they aim to stick to?
Hi and welcome ab.da54
Of course it's OK to join, you'd be very welcome here x

Hi Spoon!
Could you please put me down for 10 NSD's and 3 in a row for January?
Hopefully over the next few months I can increase my NSD's as I want to cut down on my Direct Debits as the stupid things are spread across the month which doesn't help me cut down on spendy days. However, I think I have finally gotten on top of my budget so that I can pay insurances etc all in one go for the 1st time in ages. :j
I have already gotten my empty jam jars ready for grocery money etc so I can operate on a cash only basis to help me condense spendy days, but I think it will be a habit I need to get back into as I haven't been very good over the past few months.0 -
Morning lovely gang:A
I'll try to get back later and do an update for today but may not be able to do that.
In case I don't manage to, just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year and a big welcome to any newbies joining up today.
