  • Well I have been spectacularly naughty, with trip to Ikea yesterday (but I was very strict and we only got what we went for), and a trip to the supermarket today. That's my supermarket shopping done for the month now though - the rest is meat from the butchers and things like milk and bread as and when.

So no extra NSDs to add yet. Plan to stay home and relax tomorrow so that should hopefully by NSD #4!

Good news, my sister (pipersky) won a holiday to the Scottish Highlands and has asked me if I would like to go with her. Well, it would be rude not to, wouldn't it, and I can't let her down, she's my sister :D:p:rotfl::j:beer: So, in case you are wondering, I said yes :T:T:T
Ooh, how exciting, where will you be staying/visiting LMH?

Reporting an unexpected NSD today, so up to 5 NSDs now, also had 4-in-a-row, so quite a result!!

DH was supposed to be taking DS1 back to Uni today and doing a BIG food shop with him. DS1 however has changed his mind, so not going until tomorrow. I was due to do a food top-up today with DS2, but have deferred it until tomorrow too This meant I had to defrost some milk and some mince, lasagne for tea tonight now!
    :D

Today I have made a mega-pot of tomato sauce, using various veg going soft and past their best. Also have lots of plastic milk steeping with onions, peppercorns and bay-leaves, ready for the white/cheese sauce. Should hae plenty for extras that I can freeze :):) Need to get the mince browned soon, now it has defrosted, then mix it with the sauce. Haven't made lasagne for ages, so everyone is happy it's on the menu tonight.

Also got the sitting room windows cleaned today, st£rdrop$ is marvellous stuff!! DH is now attaching some secondary glazing (cling-film-like stuff ) to our bay-window...old, wooden and single-glazed, so not very good at insulating!!

Lots of NSDs being nabbed this first week of the year...lets hope it continues for the rest of the year
