  • Good morning everyone!

Wow - 11 pages of the thread to catch up with since I posted on Friday AND 3 pages on the February thread!

Anyway, since Friday, I have managed to catch 2 more NSDs bringing my total up to 21 NSDs! :j

And I'm going to declare that as my total for this month, because I was hoping to catch one more today to reach up 2nd target; however, I have to go to the post office, as I ran out of time yesterday. :( Oh well, onwards and upwards - here comes February! :T

Jinty - hope the twonk sees the error of her ways soon - or else she'll have the NSD gang to contend with!

Good luck with catching one more NSD today everyone! See you all over on the February thread! sunshine.gif

    Good Morning :)

Last day of January :j January always used to seem like such a long month but this one seems to have flown in. Must be a sign of old age :o

Yesterday was NSD#24 :) It nearly wasn't as I went out shopping with a friend - they were buying, I was looking, but I decided I couldn't live without a Maccy D's :o I ordered and paid for both of us and was told to sit down and they would bring it to us. We waited and waited and waited and eventually I got up and told the girl their fast food wasn't particularly fast (in a polite but piddled off kinda way) anyway 2 minutes later the food appeared along with a full refund :j Result!!!!!!!! Things like that never happen to me, the MSE gods must have been looking down on me :)

    Have a great Tuesday x x

    Good morning -
A huge thanks to all of you for your support - it means a lot!
See you all at Waverley Station for an en masse NSD onslaught!!

The meeting was - as predicted - about me not going to the meeting last week and "the way I blew-up about it" While the meeting was not compulsory, by not going I set a bad example apparently.
I admitted that I could have possibly handled it better but I still meant what I said last week. I also said that one of the reasons I didnt go was because I was so BL**DY busy since no-one had covered my stuff when I was off. I said that the "flexibilty" seems to be one-way.
I am really down ATM - I felt I've tried really hard to contribute to the team and gone "above and beyond" but all these things are apparently overlooked. You get no thanks for postive efforts but put one foot out of line and she comes down on you like a ton of bricks.
I am going to keep a diary of incidents - I had thought of that. I feel a bit persecuted!!:( Dont know whether to have another meeting and clear the air. I was up at 1.15 this morning - couldnt sleep!

The good news is that I got #14 yesterday, so I just need one today to meet my target.

    Have a great day everyone!:)

    Good morning folks,

No NSD for me yesterday and very unlikely to have one today either. Jinty, I hope you get things sorted out at work soon, as I know exactly what it's like to have been bullied at work. I hope everyone else is ok and gets 1 more NSD today.
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

  • Good morning all!

I didn't get the necessary NSD yesterday to hit my target of 8, so today I have left my wallet at home to ensure I definitely get it today!...

So, with that in mind, I would like to claim today as a NSD #8/8 already as I have no way of spending any money!

    Have a great day everyone

    Morning all.

Frodo - hope your son makes a speedy recovery. Can't you get a pass for the carpark? I got one when my son was in when he was diagnosed with diabetes and another at a different hospital when he had a knee operation. Not sure if they still do it though.

Jinty - oh crumbs, that twonk really is the limit. Been there myself, it's the injustice that gets me :mad: Hope things can be resolved soon. xx

Now to my much more mundane problems:

Had a bit of a scare last night when some malware attacked my laptop! It claimed to be security software and that it had detected 13 sets of (other) malware and I needed to upate it to get rid of them!! Thought it was a bit fishy, so got DH to check it out ...took him over an hour (he's an IT whiz) and an overnight full scan to make sure everything is OK.

So beware of S$cur!ty Sh!eld...even copies some of the Windows screens...so take care if you find it!! You have to find all the files that are embedded all over the computer and delete them...a right pain!! Still, fine now...going to back up everything this moring...haven't done it for a month or so...really bad of me! Considering I am doing IT work for a customer, I really ought to be better organized...so I'll get the remote hard drive out in a minute.

Going to declare today as NSD# 20, so second target reached :j:j

Reallhy pleased, though loking at our food spending, could do with spending a bit less...much better than a few months ago, but could do better :o!

    Have a great Tuesday...freezing today!

Hello everyone, sorry I have been awol. Real life got in the way ;)

Anyway I managed a NSD on Wednesday and Thursday last week. Then another on Saturday. Haven't managed since but today should be one today with luck. So am declaring NSDs 12, 13 and 14 :T

So I managed 3 in a row last week, and have also now reached my second target. I need to check my progress against my £40 cash limit for the month but I have been quite reserved so fingers crossed that's still on plan too :A

Sorry I haven't caught up with the thread, hope everyone is ok. Has a February thread been created? Better have a think about what is a realistic target.
