plus a jaunt to the hospital for 3 month gastro check up. The good news is that my inflammatory markers are one point above normal at 16. About 2 years ago they were up at 84, so that is fantastic. This is one of the things that are monitored to determine how "active" the Crohns is ( Rising will know all about this!) Feel really well ATM, the trick is to stay that way!;)

Wow! That's fantastic Jinty:D. You've reminded me that I must ring the GI clinic as not had a follow up appt - I was going every 2 weeks for a while (really not well at that point). Gradually it got increased to 3 weeks for a bit, then 4, then 3 months and 6 and finally up to a year .... except I've not been for urrrmmmm ages!

Do you go to the Western? I must say, it's a booger to get to but they are really great :) and in the past if I've been unwell, I've phoned & they've seen me within a week.

Touch wood, things are OK for me on that front too atm :) (except the tiredness but I guess that's always going to be there) - I've been a huge amount better since I switched to Lactofree milk.....:)

    I'm home :D

having been kicked out of the hospital just before 9pm, we got calls at 2:45am telling us to get back.....

Aimee Rose arrived at 7:11am weighing in at 8lb 2.5oz (or 3.73kg for those that prefer 'new money')

Today is a spendy day - paid £2.20 for parking. Not yet checked bank accounts, but am debating a wander down to Mr M at Whoopsie time to see if I can find myself a belated birthday treat (seeing as I didn't get chance yesterday ;) )

Awww she is so beautiful, congratulations Granny CW!!!
Hope you managed to find a yummy treat for yourself too, you deserve it!!

I found a small tub of mince pie ice cream in the Whoopsie section of the freezers :T

Mr M had this on offer in 2010 and I really wanted to try it, but they never had any in stock when I was off-duty and able to shop :(
Didn't see it in at all in 2011 - apart from for a few days when it wasn't on offer :o

So I decided I just had to grab the opportunity to get this for my supper - and will very shortly be tucking into it ;)
