I would like to report today as +1 NSD DAY = 12 :j TARGET REACHED 12/12 for January!!!!
Looks like tomorrow will one as well. I am really pleased!
Spoony -thanks for your encouragement again. Your post made me laugh because my OH has always been very MSE whereas it was me that was more frivolous. That is why he is so amused about my delight in saving moneyand then rushing to let everyone know! It is a bit of turn around! I only post an NSD when we have both not spent too. I do find it useful because it makes you think!
catslovelycats - So sorry about your guinea pig, but making the decision was probably the right thing although it doesn't make you feel any better
rising from the ashes - you're welcome. We have some information in local free magazines about funding for further education via a memorial foundation and sometimes similar things are on the university websites. I hope you find something that helps.
twelvestops from home - sorry to read about your anxiety and i hope that the meds help.
cw18 - many congratulations to you and your family. What a beautiful granddaughter!
Bye for now everyone have a nice night.

Just nipping in to report #12 today!
Really busy today - work, plus a jaunt to the hospital for 3 month gastro check up. The good news is that my inflammatory markers are one point above normal at 16. About 2 years ago they were up at 84, so that is fantastic. This is one of the things that are monitored to determine how "active" the Crohns is ( Rising will know all about this!) Feel really well ATM, the trick is to stay that way!;)
Will be putting feet up shortly after making a very easy dinner of "something" ( eggs/beans/cheese or ham) on toast, cos I cant be !!!!!d cooking!
Enjoy your evening!:)

Also - drum roll - I picked up my Kindle! Have loaded a couple of free books to try it. Havent got my cover yet, so I wont be going anywhere with it yet. It feels very strange and it will take a bit of getting used to - but really exciting. I do like my "real" books though, and I feel a bit guilty using the "shiny new thing". Does that sound daft??
Yay! Not daft at all .... I'm reading a "real" book just now - have waited ages for it to come out & the library got it in (have had a reserve on it) - it's all lovely and new and I must admit to liking the "book" feel in my hands but it was really awkward reading in bed last night and I couldn't take it to work as it's huge and heavy!;) (so the Kindle def has +s on those things)
Aimee Rose arrived at 7:11am weighing in at 8lb 2.5oz (or 3.73kg for those that prefer 'new money')
Awwww Cheryl - huge congratulations to the whole family :j she is lovely:D
