NSD #9 for me today :j

So in that I should get number 10 this weekend, can I please update my target to 14?

Had a bit of a post office dilemma today. Was posting ebay parcels (hence still a NSD) but I couldn't decide whether to pay with the £40 cash in my wallet (which I'm trying to make last one calendar month for lunch, coffee, small treats etc) or whether I may as well just use my debit card, as the paypal money will go into my account anyway. I went with card in the end, as I don't want to break into the first £10 note and start the slippery slide :rotfl:

I love how quickly this thread (and everything on MSE really) has changed my attitude so fast. And I keep being reminded of things - ooh I have money on my advantage card, ooh how should I best spend my nectar points - ooh good reminder that I need to claim for my horse's vet bill etc etc. Lots of "oohs" :D Thanks everyone!
    0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37

Oh Donna what sad news. I don't manage to read all the posts in detail, but did I see that he was only diagnosed a few days ago? That must be such a shock. Best wishes to you and your family.

Rising - would love to come for a coffee but since I'm in the South East it would make it a rather costly coffee :(

mmmmmmm:think: think you could be right there ... not very MSE!:D
Unless it is the 11th of Feb at 6.00am in the morning in Edinburgh airport just before I jump on a plane ;)

Errrrrrr think I may have to pass on that one too Freeby:rotfl:sorry you can't make it, maybe there'll be another close later in the year.

Invitation open to everyone - great to see a few of us are able to make it ..... it's fab being able to "put a face to a name" IYKWIM & chat about things that RL friends just don't "get" and think I'm bonkers about!:)

From my point of view, it would be great to get a date set (often go down to DM&DF at weekends so would be good to know when I can/can't do this) and we can work on details nearer the time?

Would a Saturday work for everyone? If so ..... any preference for Saturday 7th or 21st? (thought we'd better give the 14th a miss!;))

    No 10 for me today!

Tomorrow will be a spendy day as I've got a massage booked *sigh* - can't wait!

You mean like when we went for coffee and both groaned when we got all our change in £2 coins because we knew they all had to go in our special £2 coin pots :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Either date works for me :D

That's really sad Donna, and very hard for you and the family. I feel for you, the speed is really difficult. At least he's at peace now.

Today started as a spendy day - £15 on an electric toothbrush for Mr Fresian in the Boots sale (was £60)

Then I got a £14.99 refund from Amazon for a returned item.

If I can "borrow" 1p from Mr Fresian's wallet can I count today as a NSD?
