Hey all
Just popping in to report nsd #11 today, and my third in a row. Yay!!!!Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
Cheryl - I am truly in awe of you toilet roll calcualtions :rotfl:
Rising - would love to come for a coffee but since I'm in the South East it would make it a rather costly coffee
Errr....so....not quite a NSD for me, B00ts foiled me again, didn't get anything in the 75% sale (locusts had cleared the shelves more or less by the time I got there) but did get
3 x Deo for OH
1 x shave gel
1 x large shower gel
1 x Nivea moisturiser (for OH)
all for £2.18 (oh and some more vitamins and shots) had a £2 off Dave Locker coupon and another £1 off healthcare so seemed rude not to use them
SA said 'oh you're stocking up on vitamins' 'yes' I replied 'its my NY resolution' :rotfl::o honestly this MSE lark, the porkies just keep rolling out
Also picked up a couple of bits in Mr T but had a gift card to cover that.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Donna, don't ever underestimate the value to your OH of keeping things ticking over at home, it's could well be his sanctuary to come home & not have to confront it all the time.
As others have said i'm sure he will talk when he is ready, but he's very lucky to have you understanding him so well & supporting him.February NSD challenge 5/150 -
butdoineedit?, thank you for your posts summarising how everyone is doing. They are really encouraging! :T
I did the weekly shop today so no NSD to report but I did realise that yesterday I'd completed my second 6 in a row.

Well forgot to declare yesterday's during the mammoth update (which i really enjoy doing actually), so added to another one today, that puts me on 10 please Spoon :j
Very proud of myself that i didn't give in to wine or chocolate (or even worse the dreaded & forbidden ciggies), when the insurance very kindly decided to announce they were refusing to pay out on the strom damage claim for the other house :mad:, instead i very calmly raised a complaint, had some tea & am now going to retire to bed with a hot chocolate & a hot water bottle to sulk!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -

butdoineedit - thankfully I have some smallish savings pots online that I can raid to keep me going (money I put aside for the car insurance etc) and repay next month (last year I spent the whole time borrowing and repaying myself!), as I've now realised that I had to put petrol in the car on Monday etc so I am now going to be officially -£59.89 for the rest of the month! Ho hum.....so today, I am going for No. 12.
& that itself illustrates how well you are doing with your debt busting, i'm sure i'm not the only one here who can remember the times when my savings pots were all zero & i had no credit to use & it was dire!!
To have savings pots & fall back money for emergencies is fantastic, well done!!February NSD challenge 5/150
