Free listing on Ebay today right?

So why did I just get a fee of 15p for listing an item for £4.99??? Im confuzzled!!!!!!!! x

did you add more than one pic? free listing only with one pic and you can't have 2 categories.

ohhh I am very upset! Have not been on ebay for ages although I have been on it for years! apparently I am below standard! I have never had bad feedback and only a couple of people have moaned about postge even though I keep it as low as possible and sometimes even lost money which is why I stopped!!!!!! I can not post any cheaper! seriously! so it seems people have been giving me bad 'stars' on my postage!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr so I can not list for free!!!!

I give up with Ebay! Seriously angry and upset now! after using them for years I am below standard when I am one of the most honest ones on there! I have never conned anyone or sent anything I would not be happy to receive!

nothing to add as yet, have done alot of MS work this week, so will get paid for that end of the month, have a few things lined up for the next week, plus my promo work.

Also got a refund from mr t's i bought the 200g pilgrims cheese on the 3 for £3 deal, gave one to my cousin and had 2 left, the date was 14th feb on them, one went mouldy the other is fine, took the mouldy one back and got a refund of £1.50 as there was none to swap with. so will add that on.

Still not sent off my kanta form, will do the 4 days required and then send it off tomorrow.

I'm not surprised you're upset - I would be too. Some people want you to pay them almost on ebay. are you on facebook? there's a local sellign group for me, maybe there is one for your area too? no fees and people collect from you so no postage either!

£50 birthday money and £11 ebay sales cashed today, I'm not going to buy myself anything with the money at the moment but I will make a mental note and treat myself when we pay off the £10k in the challenge in my sig so it will go towards debt busting for now :beer:

Izzoh - i feel your pain as the same thing happened to me before too :(:( - I had one person 'purchase' off me and my details clearly said postage within x number of days of cleared payment. The next day they messaged me asking if i'd posted the item yet? Erm nope as i've not had the funds. Basically buyer sent a cheque and sent at least 1 message a day asking if i'd posted this item - it was only a 99p thing - then left me neutral feedback :mad: This coupled with a couple of other things took me down to below standard. I too was both angry and upset. Also partly because i did have people complain that they'd paid £1.30 for postage when postage was less - erm yes its postage and packing and i wasn't making money from this! I even had people complain when i'd actually undercharged them postage ???

I just listed stuff and slowly built my rating back up - there was no other way around it. It took me a while but to be honest i really did need the income i was getting from selling stuff.

I do know how rubbish it feels hon ((hugs))

Awwww.......Ebay can drive you crackers at times!! It is so annoying - but try to look on the bright side. Ok, so it may cost you a few quid to do 20 listings, but then think about the money that you can earn when you off load items that you don't need.

I so know where you are coming from with postage though. On my business account I list items that I have bought specifically to sell on. I tend to just do buy it now fixed price listings for 30 days at a time. I "inlcude" the postage cost in my buy now price and then offer free posting. That way, buyers have no choice but to give you 5 stars for postage. Keeps it simple, and I also found it puts a stop to people asking for postage discounts for multiple purchases as the postage is "free" which means that I sometimes make an extra couple of pounds.

I use my private account to sell my own personal used or not wanted stuff. My postage ranking on there is at 4.7 and heading towards a 4.6!! It is so annoying as I am at a total loss as to why this is. I don't over charge on postage (and if I ever have its been by about 20p!). Makes no sense! Agree that people "expect" practically free postage even if it is a 99p item!!! If it is a higher bid start item I have started to include postage in the opening bid price eg. if I want £7.99 at least for an item and it is £2 to post I put the opening bid at £9.99 with free postage. Not tried it on lower value items as not sure if it would put bidders off. I give up trying to figure Ebay out!! :cool:
