Good list Aiming High, mind you one of the reasons I prefer Superpoints to maximiles is the rewards rate is the same whether it's 500 or 50,000 points you are redeeming.

Anyone have an invite for Superpoints for me please?

What a stressful weekend. 1200miles, 22hrs on the road and hundreds of pounds.

Im, once again, really annoyed at my family. It was my grandads funeral and my Mum needed someone to support her, my sister is sunning herself for 2 weeks in the Carribbean(wasnt pre booked and flew the day AFTER the funeral!), my brother is in Texas so it was left to me to go with Mum. It cost £200 in petrol, £40 for a room and food. My brother was supposed to send flowers via interflora but messed it up and I had to rush out to get some, another £45. I was asked to go by my siblings to support our Mum and represent all 3 of us, something I was happy to do. Im just annoyed that I've ended up paying for everything when my brother is a millionnaire, my sister is pretty rich herself, and im on benefits and the only one with children to support. Im not asking they pay for everything but a little something my way would be nice. Im really worried now as Im supposed to be taking my son to London this weekened for his birthday present and its my daughters birthday in 10 days but Im worried I'll have no money now. I budgeted for it all but had to use it for petrol. Feeling a bit sorry for myself, and my bank balance!

Hope everyone has been well, Im off to catch up on the 10 pages I've missed.

  • Often reading these threads but today I've decided it's time to take action and start saving so my first point was to list things on eBay (check), sort out freezer/cupboard to see what meals I can make (check), next is to see if I can make money/vouchers using the websites suggested on here.

Please could I have a referral (and any extra hints on how it work and what's best!)?

I am going to start the £5 a day challenge today and see how I get on.
