I've reached target! That's me done for the month- will try my best next month.
But 4 week old DD seems to be suffering from 'colic' so it's stressful trying to settle her all afternoon to evening! But I know it gets better!!

Nat thanks for the link for amazon toilet rolls just now - ordered 1 lot - free! Thanks to SB vouchers!

Thrifty, tummy rubs and warm baths help. She'll settle better on her front but do keep a close eye on her and Colief is the best stuff to get, a few drops in her bottle does the trick. I wish I knew all this when I had my first but at the tender age of 17 I didnt even know how to look after myself!

Glad you found the link useful, I'll take £10 from my grocery spend for the month and put it in my savings account.

  • I'm declaring £266, not bad for my first attempt and very much needed as the auto gearbox on my Galaxy died last week, looking at least £2k to get it fixed!
  • Gutted I missed the Andrex deal! Could have done with making a saving there- our tax credits have gone down by £120 a month!

Tibbiesmum - £2k? Ouch. I swear cars are the bane of my life!

Right well I'm doing rubbish :) have so many things pending including £112 cashback which would have made me hit my target.

I guess Feb target will be easy if everything clears at the same time!

    TOTAL FOR JAN:.... (£521.80 / £310) :j:j

That was done by me selling everything I could think off and having extra holiday money which I didn't spend and exchanged back to GBP and paid it off the credit card. Also a large lump from ebay and redeeming vouchers I have worked for months to get! lol... :o:o

Not sure Feb will be as good but going to give it a go! I am really sick at the minue, had an allergic reaction and I have rashes in the shape of scratches everywhere! from head to toe!
and doc doesnt know what it is... she said if it does not clear up in 48 hours I have to go to A&E!:eek:

Well done everyone on the January thread! keep it up for February and a HUGE thanks to Aesop for all her hard work. :T:T:T

Your rash sounds like dermatographic urticaria - looks like welts on your skin - its not hard to treat! Hope it improves soon!
