  • Hi guys, going to report myself to the RSPCT, thats the royal society for protection of cruelty to tins. I have been neglecting it *sob* but on the plus side this is only because I havn't spent a single penny in order to get change for my tin.
If anyone else gets tins we can can be called the 'tinnies' lol.

BritAbroad you are making massive strides with your payments, I'm in awe and everyone else is doing brilliantly with all their payments, keep up the hard work. I probably wont have anything to add until pay day next friday but i'm here in spirit (rattling my tin lol)

  • Hi Peeps,
Just done an extra payment to Barclays loan of £45. I know its 0% but wanting to get rid its the next one on the hit list...not sure of the target date at latest will now be Jan 2013, it depends on ebay sales!! We have cleared the Nat West on target all beit moving it early to another 0% for 12 months.. all is tidy and each one has a number of priority only to us not in costs but in size order to feel like we getting somewhere. We are getting somewhere!!! and it feels good!!!
I have found a quirky way at the moment to save a little at the same time.. obviously its on line (my fav new past time el saddo I know). After my cost and postage deducted from sales I split 50% each balance. ie 25.00 balance 50% to extra payment(=12.50).Then 50% to save(=6.25).Then 50% to shopping or treat or what ever(=3.12).Then balance pennies (=1.55) into a little pot (or tin in Betty Crumbles case!!) Over the month this does really add up!!!
I know I am lucky to be in this position to be able to do this, after reading some of the posts on here recently... you guys are truly amazing:A keep up the good work x
I updated my signature before posting on here and wowed myself at what we have achieved this month. I dont want to appear smug I am not doing that. Just making public how pleased I feel about how our efforts have paid off this month:j.

For things to change you have to change

Till next week peeps and pay day!!! Take care of those pennies
