I'm really impressed that you used your Xmas present money - it's my birthday in 2 days and I know I will be getting some money. There isn't anything I especially want to buy so I really hope I can follow your example instead of wasting money buying something for the sake of it. Hopefully I will be strong enough to use at least some of it sensibly!Barclaycard Jan 2012 £3290- Now £3030
O/D Jan 2012 £1200
Make extra payment per week Challenge- £30/£258.260 -
I'll join too!, hoping to pay off two credit cards this year so I think this will really help0

ok Jan is a bad month so starting small with £3.50 rounding off my bank acct balance and paying it towards other OD......Every Penny's a prisoner :T0

I would like to do this. I used to do A Payment a Day when it first started, and managed to clear two store cards and pay almost £400 off a high interest card. The habit slipped when I got an income reduction, and I never got back into it.
For Payment A Week, I plan to pay at least £10 per week extra off a debt. I figure that I won't miss a tenner a week, but a £40 overpayment a month will soon make a big difference!
