This sounds like a great idea to me, please can I join?
We don't have much money to spare but I'm sure I can manage to make some extra payments instead of wasting money on small non essentials.0 -

I'm really impressed that you used your Xmas present money - it's my birthday in 2 days and I know I will be getting some money. There isn't anything I especially want to buy so I really hope I can follow your example instead of wasting money buying something for the sake of it. Hopefully I will be strong enough to use at least some of it sensibly!0 -
I've just remembered that I received a cheque for £35 from my husband's Granny for Christmas (not sure how I could have forgotten that - it's not like I have money all over the place!) and have just paid it off a bill before I could be tempted by the remaining online sales! :j
Not sure I will be able to meet this level every week but it's a good start!0 -
Well done for paying of credit with gift money, what a great idea and when you factor in the interest you wont have to pay because of the extra payments it makes the gift value more.
Back to work today, Yikes.
Inamin I think that is the best way to add to the challenges, this is a great idea thanks to you and this site I should be debt free so much sooner.0 -
Please can I join in:j
Like others, I have hesitated over the 'Pay Extra Every Day' challenge but don't think I would find it doable at the moment - though possibly if we can complete this challenge we could consider it again
Don't think I can pick a particular day - have alternate Thursdays off but there is no branch of my bank close by.
Have added to my sig - huge thanks to OP for starting this and good luck everyone:beer:"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you. "

Emptied and counted the end of year "Jingle Jar" and paid £125.83 to lowest balance (and incidentally highest rate) card.Like all revolutions, guerrilla goodness begins slowly, with a single act. Let it be yours.

WOW anh, that's a fantastic amount, well done. My measly £3 looks a tad sorry for itself now!!! However, in my circumstances £3 is a lot so I am proud of making the payment still. What is a jingle jar?Barclays overdraft £1290

Hi,
Can I join too please. I haven't done any challenges for a long while, but will try and do this one at the end of each week. Was going to see what was left in my purse at the end of the week and use that, but then I would need t visit a bank or something (ive done online banking for so many years Ive no idea how to pay things any other way, lol) Like the idea of round up the bank balance, so may do that instead, and might actually start putting things on ebay, slowly.
Cheers
