Just wanted to add my Congratulations too MavvyMoo. It's inspirational to see someone has done it with their extra payments.:T

I was meant to pay £20 last week from my £2 pot but it's still sat in my desk bagged up. I just couldn't face the rain then I had a gall stones "attack" after a rich work lunch so was that was two days I couldn't get to the bank.. I'll try and get it done tomorrow if I can. I can't skim the bank account this week as OD again :o

I'll keep plodding slowly and get there. Anything is better that nothing. :)

Thank you Naomim :) These extra payments how ever small do work. and count towards that end goal :T And look at your total extra payments that's a fantastic amount ! Well done you and once you get to the bank it will be even better :-)

Another £100 over paid today off the OD ......I would never ever have done that before this challenge that would have been spent on something I didn't need :o

OD to go then I need to save for a wood burner before next winter as my oil bills are a killer
Keep it up everyone our totals are amazing :T

Ooh mavvymoo, that's what we want to start saving for too! The dog is trying his hardest to bring home the biggest sticks from the park to help.

Sorry, I'm a lurker, I do dip in every now and then for inspiration as this debt really needs to go once and for all!

Barbeduk At least you are further on than me as my dog wouldn't bother to bring sticks home from the park.:D
But so want a wood burner as our oil bill is horrendous. In 6 weeks we used £345 worth of oil  And that was being careful
So next winter we freeze or save save save for a woodburner !
Good luck in your quest to get yours :)

right so having a sweep of my accounts looking for money and find out i've lost £20, blooming gym membership finished March yet they have took April and (grrrr) today too! Cancelled DD and sent snotty e-mail, don't suppose i'll get it back but worth a try.
Anyhoo, how weird is this, last extra payment from me was 8.13 and I have just paid 3.82 from one acc and 4.31 from another, total = 8.31. Couldn't do that again if I tried. So a little bit nearer to my 170 in 17 wks goal. Have had an email about a Quidco payment, its only £1 something but when that hits its going on there too.

I'm a bit fed up to be honest, have missed the cut off for getting my £30 expenses on my next wage thanks to manager faffing about, had to pay a £30 fine for undertaking in the bus lane (lets no go there!) and now the gym thieves *sigh* nearly £80 just gone *sob*
Sorry dont wanna put a downer on things but this thread is really making me see where every penny is and I feel sad that I have wasted/lost so many. Guess I'll get my expenses eventually though so not all bad.

    Hi All,

MIL paid me some money owing on the holiday for their share so I'm not overdrawn (for now :o). I've rounded down the bank account and paid off £9.68 on credit card. :j
