  • Still saving up towards the holidays

DH received £30.01 in a mileage cheque from work so I put that towards the holiday fund.

DS1 didn't have football on Friday (cancelled) so the £3 went towards that too.

DS1 isn't at school for the next week so I don't have to pay for him to get there, so another £5 towards my hols.

Grand total in two weeks: £56.51
    Emergency savings: £0 saved / £4000 target
  • Eeeek nearly missed this weeks payment  Just scraping in on a sunday night with £2.51 from rounding down my bank balance.

    Hi All,

So... I have booked a holiday :o Now instead of chipping on the cc as they are on 0% interest, my extra payments will be going towards clearing the holiday debt.

Bank account is OD so no rounding for me. Just going to see what I can collect from my own "spending money".

    Keep going everyone!

Just done last weeks payment of £4.56 a couple days late :( Hopefully will be able to make payment next week as I am running a bit short this month, although I am rounding down in my bank account I am putting all lose change (and any tips) I get from my second job in to a sealed pot (usually just under £5 p/w) so I can use these at xmas or for decorating my house.

Just thought I sold some stuff on ebay a couple of week ago that money is sat in paypal gonna transfer and use as nexr weeks extra payment :)

Just Checked My Crowdology Account and had enough to transfer it to Paypal so another £4.00 to add for next weeks payment :)
  • £8.98 for me this week which means that I've now made over £200 in extra payments in just 13 weeks since January :j

Hi there, I have stumbled across this thread and think this is a brilliant idea and just the kick I need to get me motivated. I have "tidied up" by bank account this morning and sent £15.95 to nationwide so hope this is the first of many extra payments. Well done everyone !
