I recently, today around (4 hours ago order a sim only deal) by three i got the order confirmation but i don't know if it's been accepted or not.

Your accepted usually sim only deals rarely decline (due to fact that network operator can cut you off and wont make a significant loss such as of subsidised handset.)

I tried via phones4u for a sim only deal on both orange and vodaphone, i got rejected strangely..

no its not, an order confirmation is just that, a confirmation of what you
have ordered.

If you have been accepted you will get a further 2 emails, one saying
something along the lines of welcome to the family blah blah blah.

then a second sating your order has been dispatched

who knows, what time did you order? but you should get an email once you
have been accepted.
bear in mind they will be clearing a backlog for orders placed over christmas,
so it may take a bit longer than normal.

I ordered around 5pm uk time yesterday. I just phoned up and they said everything seemed to be fine, it's in the warehouse and it should be shipped out soon, there's going to be some delays or something like that.

but im so happy about it, nothing much but at least this will help me build up my credit rating.

Three recently changed the way they do their credit checks. It's now an instant procedure during the order process on the Sim only packages and once you get an order confirmation with a delivery date it means you've been accepted.

Yep got the sim yesterday, pretty quick, no so great though as i have no bloody signal!
