LittleMoog - Funnily enough, I just took some sausages out of the freezer! Need to add some kind of sauce though, as DH isn't keen on 'dry' food (he is a pain!)

Must add a slice of Marmalade on toast to my breakfast, as DS2 didn't want it. I must stop feeling obliged to eat the leftovers!

  • Oh what a lovely day to face up to the consequences of being such a piggy! It is absolutely lashing it down here in Mancunia, the weather is almost as bad as my hangover!

WI for this this week - 3lbs gain

Obviously not thrilled with this result but on the plus side I am now sick of going gallivanting, drinking and eating indulgent food. I am more than ready for a booze free week (hopefully smoke free too - in for a penny and all that), plus more exercise and better planned meals.
Unfortunately last nights prosecco has meant that this morning really did call for bacon and sausage on toast so not the best start but needs must!
Hoping to lose this 3lbs at next weeks weigh in.

Positive thoughts people! - reading recent posts I think we all need a bit of boost, seems a lot of us are struggling. Just remember its a journey - not a race! :grouphug:
  • Firstly well done to everyone who's lost weight this week, and to those who have gained or stayed the same don't worry a little blip is allowed :-D, be good and you might lose plenty next week :-D

As for me... my first weigh in since joining the thread and...

    -2.4lbs

I wasn't expecting to lose anything this week, what with the take away's and stuff. So losing 2.4lbs is amazing for me :-D. If I stick to it religiously this week I may well lose 4lbs by next weigh in :-D

    Meal plan for today.

    B - Porridge & Juice
    L - Soup & Bread
D - Oven chips & gravy (small amount).

& possibly 2 scoops of ice cream for dessert as a well done for losing weight :-D

Have a great day everyone :-D

    Morning all (just)
I am reporting a STS this week.
At first I was a bit upset at this - but when I look back at what I'd been eating it does rather seem like an advert for bakery with more scones than could sink a battleship!
I have just over 2 weeks to get back into my skirt that I bought for summer (should we get a summer) so it's out with the scones and in with the fruit.
Plan for today is B - weetabix, L - h/m mushroom soup and bread, D - eating out but am driving so will hopefully be able to make some sensible choices. E - 1 hour in gym. Snacks, Apple, banana, strawberries etc.
Well done to all those who lost:T. Keep plugging away all those who didn't. Slowly Fading - I know what you mean. I am fine when my mindset is positive, when it isn't I struggle terribly. But good news on the job front.

I've gotten into the bad habit of weighing myself daily, initially to correct any !!!! ups before they did further damage and to spot patterns in what caused the initial gains.

This does mean that I have multiple start weights from last week to choose from!

But in the interest of simplicity I'll take my Friday WI, so I lost 1¼ lb :)

From this day forth I vow to only weigh in on Fridays and stick to it :D

Another STS for me this week, seems I've climbed back on that plateau. Ah well, onwards and downwards ;). Must get Paul McK on my side again, I've had a couple of good 'can't put down' library books recently but he does make good night-time reading/listening even if his cd does send me to sleep!

    B - spicy fruity porridge
    D - 1/2 rack of ribs. Apple
T - 2 slices WW Danish spread with ff yogurt filled with prawns & a twist of black pepper. Stewed rhubarb with ff yogurt
    S - nectarine, melon, grapes
E - none - yet :o Will aim for 15 mins this afternoon if/when I stop running around after other people!

Have a bright day whatever the weather :)
