Three PAC code query
Options
I tried to bluff the Three retentions dept for my PAC code as they are retentions do not offer any good deals go existing customers.
Customer service chap said i can request PAC code one for free, but after 30days if request it again there is a charge. Anyone else heard about Three charging for PAC codes more than once?
oops just realised posted on wrong forum ..can a mod move it pls.

I would have thought with nearly 3000 posts you'd know what board to put this on, and it's not grabbit!0

I've not heard of charging for a second PAC code, but they do expire after 30 days which I think is standard across the board.
However, I have always found retentions to offer really good deals, don't go through to the upgrade line just go straight through to retentions and tell them what you want to pay and what phone you want and negotiate your minutes.:hello:0 -

Yes been trying that for the past few days. they just offer me the same deals as the Three stores, was hoping for a good deal but does not appear the case. if its the same price as instore might as well just buy from the store.
(silly me posted in wrong forum, probably as i had multiple screens open:rotfl:)0 -
I've just moved 2 accounts from 3 for exactly this reason - not only did I get a better deal from Tesco but they treated me like a customer, not an idiot who they could bamboozle with poor deals. I wasted several hours on the phone with three on the run up to my contract expiring - never again!Downshifted

same problem with 3 but they tried to tell me that i'd accepted a new contract with them when didn't. took a near court case to get them to back down/
would not use 3 again if they paid me!0 -

i have been a customer over 7 years from online service, so far no probs, although i notice the telephone sales staff try their best for pressure selling. Not had any problems when talking to Three instore sales so far. Probably will renew with instore sales but will take a loot at tesco.0
