    Hi

We got our's on new years eve at Chessington, we only live 5 mins away so not a problem, was quite busy with people getting them, they took our picture at the till and passes done there and then, i asked it they had been busy and they said they had been, and might pull the offer early, not sure if that is everywhere or just there.

We are so looking forward to using them, we live in surrey, so are near chessington, thorpe park ad lego land, and only take 25 mins to get to london, so a really good for us, and we go to alton towers every year for a long weekend, and do warick castle on the way home.

    Hope you all get one.

Sounds pretty much like us. We are half way beteen Thorpe Park and Chessington (just down the A3) and it would be so easy to have either as an option at any time in the summer.

We were going to pop in to Thorpe Park next Sunday (as we're over that way for lunch with relies) but just seen it now closed until March. Good job that the Gweek site is still sending out vouchers.

On the subject of opening hours, it is just the theme parks which are closed for 95% of the next 3 months ? Presumably thee London attractions (Eye, MT, Aquarium and the Dungeons) are open all year round ?

The others are much less weather and maintenance sensitive so are open year round...

London Eye tomorrow (change of plans from Tussauds) with brushed hair for photos... :)
    Now that's a good idea... :D

Just noticed that Standard passes don't get you into ANY London attraction during August (not a major problem for us but just in case others hadn't spotted it) and the Merlin Annual pass site has now also removed the "Legoland only after 2pm in August" restriction.

A few more questions if I may

    1) I am assuming there is no problem in getting 4 50% passes (for 2 adults, a 5 yr old and a 7yr old) rather than 1 non-reduced family pass ?

    2) The site seems to say 2 different things so can anyone confirm whether standard passes let you fast track on the London Eye ?

    3) Even though the parks (Legoland, Thorpe Park, etc) are now closed til March are their ticket offices still open to buy passes from ? Otherwise doesn't that restrict, quite severely, the choice of 'home' park ?

    4) Finally, does anyone have the 'local' (the one that appears to get the vouchers sent out) number for the Gweek Sea Life centre (Google shows nothing for me)

Just called Gweek again, made myself a bit more clear, "I know you don't have the facilites to print passes on site therefore could you please send me the vouchers by post." The lovely lady was more than willing took name, address and card details. Should get my vouchers on Tuesday, woohoo!!!! :):):)

Saved me a long trudge into London.
This is me :j for the rest of the day.

Excellent! Must have got the lady I spoke to!

Can someone who is going for the pass this weekend ask when the offer ends please. I am hoping to go collect one next week, but it a a 3 hour return journey to my nearest place and don't want it wasted if poss.

I would still check before you leave, the lady I spoke to at Merlin the other day, said they didn't have a specific end date and advised me to get it as soon as possible. May be just sales talk though!

Thanks. And the vouchers they send can be redeemed at ANY Merlin park and not just the Gweek one ? (stupid question I know but best to check) And cover the cost of a standard pass but you only paid the £78 ?

Went to Chessington this morning. Opened at 10am for the Zoo Days. There was no queue for the purchase of the Merlin passes so bought three (me, missus and little dude) we went in and had a great day. Already getting the benefit of this deal.

    Thanks

The London Eye is now closed for its annual maintenance for 2 weeks. However, I would assume that the booking office is still open and will be issuing passes.
