Yay! At last I've started on the kitchen cupboards! Only 2 wall cupboards, where we keep various foodstuffs, but it's a start. Also had a go in the garage yesterday and hubby's been sorting out the garden.

    So.....

    1. Piece of wood that has been in garage since we moved in (14 years) - tip
    2. Plastic shelf unit in garage - dismantled, taking to boot sale Sunday
    3. 4 bags of cans delivered to us reduced to 1 for recycling
    4. Old football - tip
    5. Bracelet - birthday present for daughter
    6. Wooden banana tree - taking to boot sale
    7. Plastic sports water bottle - taking to boot sale
    8. Out of date maple syrup - tip
    9. out of date beetroot - tip
    10. out of date mustard - tip
    11. The Power of Less book - taking to boot sale
    12. Bottle of white vinegar: vinegar used for cleaning bathroom, bottle recycled
    13. Various packets of out of date cous cous - tip
    14. Oxo cubes - tip
    15. Noodles - tip
    16. Glass worktop saver - taking to boot sale
    17. Teething ring - taking to boot sale
    18. Baby's juice bottle - taking to boot sale
    19. Plastic tupperware-type containers - to boot fair
    20. Paddling pool with blow up top over it - taking to boot fair
Another 20 items - wow, nearly at double my June target. And this is after a major declutter and boot fair before I even began June's challenge!! I'm not missing anything - to be honest, unlesss I look at the list of what has gone, I can't even remember most of it! Just shows how much we needed those things....

Hope we are carrying on in July, I've still got lots of areas to tackle yet!

    slowly but (sort of) surely...

Big well done for those who have reached and exceeded 100

ETA snookey welcome!! It really does help having somewhere to record your declutters. Good luck x

    Good morning all
Starting early on the bookshelves and boxed 61 books for cs. They are still in the house, but I will not put them back on the shelf.

    Hi everyone,
I'd really like to join this thread.
I have a conservatory/shed/bedroom full of 'stuff' waiting for me to sell/charity shop/chuck. I did the sorting, then held on to it to do something with.
    Thanks for the motivation :T

    Welcome Rumblytum
I've not been on this thread long but have found it really helpful in keeping going - making a final decision, sticking to it and reporting back here. Then there's no going back, and finally I'm starting to see clearer areas. Good luck!
