Hi all,
I have listed some books this morning on Greenmetropolis so hopefully these will be off and out of the door. Can I join you in the Feb 100 declutter challenge if that is OK? Realistically, I am unlikely to do much after the 13th as this is (hopefully) when our adoptive children move in, so my challenge is 13 days instead
Having said that, I think I need the challenge of it all!!
So, so far I have shifted:
- 2 more pillows - friends
- 2 storage boxes full of fabrics - freecycle
- Unpicking some beer mats (stitched together as a beach mat years ago) ready to list on ebay.
- Finish painting a dressing table I am customising for my new daughter. This will mean it is out of the conservatory where everyone is tripping over it!
- Package up Christmas presents for my friend which have been sitting here waiting for us to get to visit them! I am going to post them to her as we are unlikely to see them before Easter now! Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Just off down the post office with 5 more parcels
Then more ebay listing and dragging more stuff out of the outhouse to sort. I must list that bag of clothes under my bed too! lol. So much to list!

Right then, lets gets this Ditch 100 in February challenge started! Both DDs still off school & nursery so I was thinking we wouldn't be doing too much but we already have 15 items! This month I'm going to count individual items rather than bundle them together IYSWIM because I'd really like to know exactly how much junk and unwanted stuff we actually get rid of.
1. Old mascara - binned
2. Yet more holey socks - recycled (R)
3. Bar of dried up soap - binned (we use handwash so it never gets used)
4. Toilet roll inner - R
5. Washing machine liquid ball (I have 4!) - R
6. 4 x expired coupons - R
7. Empty chocolate box - R
8. Broken box - R
9. OOD mincepies lurking in cupboard - binned, foil trays - R
10. McDonald's Smurf - In box to sell
11. Small voodoo doll from Skeggy arcades lol - sell
12. Large plastic paperclip thing - sell
13. Noise making toy (thank goodness!) - sell
14. 3 x little plastic figures - sell
15. Small teddy figurine - sell
Items 10 - 15 are things the girls have found after I told them about the challenge. DD1 has watched we type this so I have to say that we are putting them in the box to sell at the carboot or on facebook but they may well end up in the CS box, recycling or to help pad out the box of stuff we're collecting for the next car boot ebay lot we do!
