Any help on this would be great appreciated.
I have taken the plunge and got cable tv, phone and the 10mb broadband.
However, I want to connect the internet my Wii and in March my PS3. I don;t have a PC (i do plan to get a laptop just not yet)
Do I just need a PC to set up the modem etc or do I need a PC for the Interent to work? The lady said I just needed to borrow a PC to set it up then I would be able to set up the Wii for online? I'm not too sure?
Thanks in advance

We were provided with a modem with both USB and Ethernet output (although they didn't provide an ethernet cable). You'll need to connect the PS3/Wii via Ethernet - it should be plug and play, although does the Wii have an ethernet port, or is it just wireless?0

thanks for the response. There is no Ethernet port on the Wii I think I can get an attachment though does this effect my need for a PC?

I dont know whether a new wii comes with Opera web browser installed on it, or whether you have to download it. So thats a bit catch 22.
If it does come with it, all you need to do is point it to https://autoreg.autoregister.net/ to setup your internet connection with ntl.0 -
You could do with buying a router first of all, preferably wireless that way you can connect the Wii, through the wireless adapter in the Wii.
It will also make connecting the pc and anything else you want to connect a lot easier. You can't con an honest man!0
