Defo salt overload. Pomme Frites and their English cousins, chips, are not worth eating without an avalanche of salt.Ah thank you both so much for that lovely gesture :rotfl::rotfl:
I really couldn't accept such generous gifts though. I'd be perfectly happy if you could both just send me photos of you wearing yours
As soon as the photos are developed I'll pop one in the post to you. In the meantime I need to know your size, please, so I can pop down to Plymouth Market to get you a suitably sparkley pair. I rather think you're in need of some bling on yours.joeyjimbles wrote: »Road trip!! And all of us in leopard print jeggings?
Yes, yes, yes! Honey Bear's 61st birthday party - Happy Now leading her Northern Posse Contingent in a southerly direction, Honey Bear reserving Chocaccino for an evening of the finest chocolate dipping and scoffing, and the dress code: Leopard skin jeggings. No admittance without them. Something to look forward to, no?Better is good enough.0 -
I have no experience of dealing with heels. I can't see them because I'm a forward-looking kind of gal, they don't hurt, end of concern.
Still scoffing leftovers here, as described elsethread. Nothing saintly to report._Honey_Bear wrote:Still finishing up the 'leftovers' here - breakfast was the last of the French apple flan with the last of Nigella's Barbados Cream (if you haven't tried it, I absolutely recommend it), together with starting to make inroads on the clotted cream. So, Awesome April.......
Well to date, this has been my least Awesome April on record. But hey, it's only the 18th, plenty of time left.
Well done for getting back on track. I'm nowhere near doing so ....
I couldn't even remember my targets, had to read back.- Get the budget back on track. I paid the due £1125 off the debts and we now owe under £38K. Unfortunately I am awaiting huuuuuggge vet/cremation bills and I can't even guess the amount, so that figure might rise again. I wish they'd hurry up and bill me, I want to get it paid and over with
. Today I have spent £3.50 on O2 priority lunch (very healthy), Greek yogurt (very healthy), Cadbury Twirls (not so much) and a new toothbrush for Mr H because he has lost his. Seriously.
- Eat healthily. 53 days to our holidays! Let the health kick begin. I've started MyFitnessPal again and set it at 1700 calories, which must include 5 x F & V, one bar of chocolate and one glass of wine.
- Seven hours in bed each night. No idea so far, I haven't been counting. Will start tonight.
- Neat feet I've still got hooves. From now until the end of the month I will exfoliate and moisturise them every day.

And all of us in leopard print jeggings? Or have I gone too far?
Definitely too far, I have not got the figure for any type of jeggings, let alone leopard print ones!
I have dreadfully neglected feet too - particularly my heels as I have always preferred either bare feet or fluffy socks to slippers or shoes (in the house, I do manage to wear shoes outside). I keep looking at those adverts for clever roller things and wonder if they work. Anyone got any experience?
I do have one of those clever roller things and they do work if you are prepared to put the time in and therein lies my downfall. Although when HappyNow mentioned about getting her feet in shape, I did manage to track it down and use it a couple of times. Think I'm going to need to use it daily for weeks to get my feet in shape though.

Nope, that's definitely me out then!

Hi Happy and everyone!
I’ve been MIA for a bit – but I did write a long post when you first wrote about your horses, Happy. Good job I was in my own office. I was crying along with you... Hope things are becoming more positive for you.
I have been keeping up with all the various updates It looks like I've been missing all the fun.(But I don't have any jeggings - leopard skin or otherwise - so perhaps it's just as well... *sigh*)
I’ve just not had the chance to post my own updates. I’ve been keeping a tally, though and the situation for the last 10 days is:

Hmm, let's say size 8. Two days into my diet and I'm feeling optimistic

Update for yesterday.
- Get the budget back on track. A no spend day, first one in ages.
- Eat healthily Tick. Yes really! 1700 calories consumed, including 5 x F & V, one twirl from a multi-pack (they're tiny, Honey, honest) and a glass of red wine - just 175 ml, Honey!
- Seven hours in bed Think I just managed it yesterday, but I won't today because it's already 11:40.
- Neat feet Forgot last night but I'm going to do it now.

Thanks Happy. Glad things are looking up.
Must try to keep on target for everything. But it's not easy...
Not sure I'd do as the respectable face of the road trip. BUT I have a very-economical-on-road trips diesel car and would have to pass through The North on my way from Scotland. Could offer lifts for a share of the fuel. :rotfl:
BTW I agree about the twirls. Can hardly see them. Also it's scientifically proven that all wine improves your iron count. White plateaus, but red just keeps on giving. (This is even TRUE, Honey.
)
Will update yesterday when I'm not sending from my mobile!A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!
