I know the feeling, I have completely lost my routine as Eldest J has been into school at differing times for exams and revision sessions, and then there's been all sorts of other stuff going on around him. It feels like a bit of a whirlwind actually. Next week will be more calm - littler J is off on school residential for most of the week and exams will be over. I have an extra project to fit in over the weekend but that will be finished by Tuesday and then i can finally take stock...I hope.

That sounds very hectic. Hope things settle down soon.

    Mixed bag for yesterday's update...

    1) I had cheese on toast for tea and I used butter instead of low fat spread.
    2) No cake.
    3) Light off at 11.30pm and was very restless all night.
    4) I have already meal planned for the week so no problems there.
    5) No spends on other people. I have no idea what to get my dad and OH's dad for fathers day and I know they aren't bothered about presents so I have decided that I am just going to send cards. It seems to be getting more difficult to get our dads presents as they get older. They just don't seem to need or want anything. I'm not too worried about it though as we do treat them when we see them.

Well done Dolphin - you are doing really well if you look at it as a long term trend, little blips here and there just prove that we're human.

I'm keeping going but cannot wait to get through the next few days. Last GCSE exam is tomorrow and need to get youngest ready for school trip away for a week whilst completing a somewhat draining job over the weekend. Last time I did it, I ended up working through the night to get it all completed but hopefully it won't come to that this time. Its the last time I'll do it for a while and it will pay for our London theatre tickets and a couple of meals so its good incentive.
Where did the sunny summer go?

It's nice that you are doing the work for a jolly and not just to pay the bills. :)

No idea where summer went. The weather seems to change from one day to the next where we are so I am checking the weather on a daily basis to decide whether we need our coats and/or umbrellas with us. Very frustrating!

    Yesterday's update...

    1) A bit of butter on my jacket potato for tea.
    2) I had another slice of the chocolate cake that I bought. (There is one slice left and I'm trying to decide if I'm strong enough to throw it away instead of eating it today.)
    3) Light off at 11.00pm so success but really need to do this every night.
    4) Meal plan for the week already done.
    5) No spends on other people.
