I'd give car audio security in hayes a call. They'll be able to look up and tell you the required size over the phone. I'd recommend using a good quality set of components such as focal, hertz, etc.
    Starting Weight (19/02/12): 17st, 1lb. Target Weight: 14st

On Caraudiodirect Mark under fitting kits for your car they have speaker adaptors which enable you to fit 6½" aftermarket speakers in the front doors:)

Wouldn't harm to double check though;)

    Looks right to me:)

The DIN is just the size of the headunit, the one you have is a single DIN size, where this is double DIN
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer-avhp4300dvd.html its basically twice the height of yours;) hope that helps:)

Don't forget you might need a harness adaptor for the headunit, like this
    http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/con-ct20sz02-ct20sz02-harness-adapter-suzuki-ignisgrand-vitara.html

This will connect between the cars wiring harness that connects into your current OEM stereo and the standard ISO connection needed for your new Headunit.

Brilliant, thanks very much.. Got all the info I needed now! Thanks!

I will update, Ive contacted a couple of Installers nearby to see their costs involved, and will see if i can afford it this month or next (though I think will be this month ;))

I totally understand you here, why wait???? :D

Anything you order from CAD, if you have a problem don't hesitate to ring them and they will put it right for you, excellent customer service those guys have:D

I'll look forward to seeing your images on here shortly!

I remember years ago when I got my first system installed, I dropped my car off and went into town to kill a few hours while the installation took place. Upon my return I could hear deafening loud music coming from their workshop, and best of all it was from my car:D

    True enough, why wait :)

Im just waiting for some emails back now and will see what they say,

Nice, must admit, Ive wanted a decent sound system for ages but when I got my swift, id upgraded from a 12 year old micra (first car) and thought the sound system overall was much better, until now :D
  • I'd avoid "car audio Centre" they don't have that great a reputation. Car audio direct however, I've use don many an occasion and their serice and prices are second to none![/QUOTE]

Car Audio Centre are appalling, I had a delivery problem due to an error in the postcode, they refused to answer emails, the web contact form and return calls. When I did get them they were aggressive and unhelpful, basically 'your problem sort it out yourself'. I am still without the stuff I ordered before Christmas. I looked into them a bit more, there are dozens of bad reviews on them and a few really good ones - but guess what most posted by the same person! So not only bad service but prepared to spam and lie too! Avoid - Avoid - Avoid..
