Telewest bills

Hi all I recently got out a new deal with telewest and wanted to query if anyone had the same or similar experiences with telewest.
The deal I got was £17.25pm where without the credits it comes upto £52pm.
My bills showed:
Oct - £42.41
Nov - £36.84
Dec - £53.33
I queried this with the telewest bills department and they said everything is in order and all my credits are in order too. (My credits for the deal I got totals to £35pm) The reason they gave me telewest takes payment a month in advance but it still doesn't add up..
So for 3 months I was meant to pay £51.75
I've been charged -£132.58
total i've overpaid = £80.83
how does this workout? Can someone offer me any advise please?
Thanks

Hi, I've joined Telewest twice, once in my previous house and then again when I moved here. Both times I was billed far more than I expected and it was a complicated battle of words trying to get them to agree to the mistake and then refund me. A friend recently signed up with them and was charged more than their sign up "offer". It seems to be a regular thing with that company and has been going on for years. Recently they started adding an extra tenner to my bills because I wasn't paying for them by the 20th of each month. Who pays bills on the 20th? We don't get paid till the end of the month. I'm also paying an extra £4 p.m. because I don't pay by direct debit. I refuse to pay by DD till I can get them to agree to take the payment on the 1st of every month when I have the funds in my bank but they wont do that. I got a telephone call a few week ago from them saying if I sign up for DD immediately I'll get £18 credited to my account. I said I'd think about it and called them back a couple of days later but there was no record of any phone call made to me nor any £18 being offered to me. I'm now very suspicious about their phone calls and don't give out my security password unless I phoned them. My sister told me just today that someone has hijacked her bank account and bought stuff over a telephone using her card details. Never pay anything over the phone using your card if THEY PHONED YOU. It just might be someone pinching your card details to use for their own purchases. I'm not saying it was a Telewest hoaxer/employee who stole my sister's details but it's a possible way to do it given they have no records of some of their calls. Watch them anyway, their bills often do no add up..0
