It can be a good time to buy now if you have all the right fundings in place . Intrest rates are low ATM and likely to rise Just as important peoples perception of what they think might happen over the next year or two. (If you are looking for a house @ £140k and offer £115k you might get it as the seller may think it will *AND MAY* be only valued at that next year or so):cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

I'd buy if:
- you are unhappy in rented and feel your quality of life would be better in your own home (ours is about ten times better but I hated our rental)
- you plan to stay long term (more than five years)
- you aren't the sort of person who regrets everything.
Consider the mortgage interest carefully. I never bought into the whole "renting is money down the drain" argument - interest is just as much money down the drain!
Buy because you want to and feel it's the right time for you, not because you feel you should.0
