Mostly TXT Sims?

Hello

I have an alarm system which reports via text message and can be set and controlled by txt.

It also can be dialed up and dial out to control or listen in.

I am looking for the best deal to run this alarm. I did have a Virgin sim on recommendation as is has no ongoing monthly cost or credit expiry but it seemed to eat through £20 worth of credit, so I'm thinking maybe a a monthly deal.

I have a contract phone so never really look into this sort of thing so I'm not a expert.

Thanks

Kevin

This depends on the actual usage. Incoming calls and texts are free, so outgoing texts seem to be your main concern.
Unlimited texts are available for £5 - giffgaff.
    30m+30t for £1 - vectone.
    25m+50t for £1 - talkmobile (though e2save).

The cheapest PAYG texts I know are 5p at icardmobile.
