Cool showers

Hi everyone. Can anyone help? We have 2 Trevi showers. Both appear to have developed problems at the same time. They are just not getting hot enough. We are racking our brains to understand why both should have developed a similar problem. Can anyone think of anything obvious?

If you have 2 showers that have developed the same problem then I would suggest that the problem lies with the supply of hot water. Either the pump that feeds them is not working or has a blockage, or the boiler that feeds them does.
Is the HW from a combi or a tank (or tank and pump)? It will give us a better chance of diagnosing the problem or possible problems.

Are both showers electric or do they take water from a hot water cylinder?
Have you noticed a drop in water pressure? If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0 -
It is a system boiler which powers a megaflow hot water tank. They are both power showers. Thanks for your quick replies. There has been no drop in water pressure. Bath water is red hot as usualTo do is to be. Rousseau

Oh no. DH has gone up in the loft to investigate whether we have one pump or two. It could be a long evening! To do is to be. Rousseau

If you have an unvented cylinder then your hot water is at mains pressure. You will NOT have a pump of any shape size or description for your showers if they are fed from this.
If they are fed from the unvented are they of the same age/batch and installed at the same time? Its not beyond the bounds of possibility that both cartridges have gummed up / failed at the same time although I would think it rare. Thats the first thing to look at and whilst you have it out check that the inlet filters aren't clogged up.
What do YOU mean by power shower. In normal parlance that means pump assisted. The Trevi Boost uses a venturi to achieve the same effect but without a pump.

Thank you for caring so much. Boring really. He couldn't find any pumps of any description but spoke to a plumber friend this morning who suggested that the filters could be blocked. Apparently you should clean them annually and we've had them 7 years and never done it once. Also he suggested that the cartridges might need replacing. Now we just have to work out how to get to the filters. Been googling installation instructions today but can't really find out how to get at filters.
Both showers were fitted at the same time but I still find it hard to believe that both filters or cartridges have 'gone' at the same time.
Can't answer unvented question as dh is now out on his bike. Yes I know it is dark! Hell be needing a shower when he gets in!To do is to be. Rousseau
