Pet Supermarket

Hi all just wondered if anyone uses pet supermarket? I've just had terrible service from them after ordering something for only £10 in the first week of December i still haven't received it and i emailed them and got no reply. i ended up calling them for 10p a minute grrr to be told it was coming that day -that was a week ago. i finally got a reply to my emails today and it said tophone them to resolve the issue. i tried and it said they were open today but then a pre recorded message said they were closed for Christmas! I've emailed them again and they now say they have refunded my payment. very unimpressed!

I've ordered from them a couple of times. I find them to be very slow in delivering, though I did get my order quicker than you! Bearing in mind Zooplus orders come from Germany, they arrive so much quicker than Pet Supermarket ones!

TBH, the only time I would use them again is if they had a really good offer such as BOGOF on Royal Canin. I wouldn't use them as my routine pet store, I much prefer Zooplus.

    I have used them twice.

1st delivery was brilliant, 2nd one was via Yodel and it was a nightmare. Their online tracker said they had tried to deliver twice & left a card when I knew they hadn't as I had been home all day both times. When it was delivered they knocked the door, abandoned the parcel on the doorstep and were back at their van before I picked up the puppy and answered the door.

I actually emailed Pet Supermarket and asked them to request POD knowing that they wouldn't get it!

I use them quite frequently but their delivery times are dreadful, so I order my special veterinary RC early before I need it.

I was really shocked coz they'd been mentioned on here a fair few times so i thought they'd be good to buy from but they are terrible! I won't be buying anything from them again! and the excuse when i phoned? "we are changing courier service in the new year, they are unreliable" ?! when i then asked if they could contact them to find out where it is he said "i am sure it will be there today or tomorrow" he must have been telepathic and he was also wrong as it still hasn't shown up! I ordered stuff from pet planet at the same time and found them really good, it came within 4 days!
  • Same here. I buy the odd thing that I don't need quickly if it's on special if on offer, but Zooplus is exceptional and there's rarely anything on PS that isn;t cheaper elsewhere - and I have discovered that the guinea pigs' food (which I used to buy from PS) is cheaper on Amazon!
  • I use our local pet store Plaza pets - they have a web store and don't charge for delivery- really helpfull and quick.

Also if you need stuff you want it in a reasonable timeframe - 7 days is too long (generally this is time minimum needed for petsupermarket)

I would have been pleased with 7 days haha. i got an email from them yesterday saying sorry and that they will be refunding me. I then got another email today apologising (obviously they had not realised they had already replied!) and saying that they can see the package was delivered yesterday!?!?! i replied again saying it most certainly was NOT delivered and has not been delivered today either so i still expect my refund!! shocking. I am just glad i didn't spend more than £10.
  • Surrey Pets can have good prices although their delivery was slow both times I ordered.

Am interested to read this as i have just used them for the first time - just before xmas my dog was diagnosed with liver disease/hepatitis and found them to be the cheapest for his RC hepatic food, ordered on 28th Dec says still processing - gonna see what happens this week now that xmas is out of the way but might order a bag from elsewhere just to be on the safe side. Viovet would be the next cheapest has anyone used them>?
A home is not a home ..... without a dog
