M & S technology not in store anymore

I have just been to the M & S store at Marble Arch to see their digital televisions and found that this dept. closed in October. It may be possible to buy online but I would never buy a tv without seeing it first.

John Lewis, Richer Sounds, or go into PC Dixons Curry World for a look see then buy on line.
Marks and Sparks are just for socks and pants. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

There's a Richer Sounds (Bloomsbury Way) 1.5 miles from Marble Arch and a John Lewis about 2 minutes away. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

I can't imagine why you'd go to M&S for a comparison when there is a JL almost opposite? And that branch of RS is 3 stops east on the Central line and then a 2 minute walk.No free lunch, and no free laptop

The JL is not opposite the Marble Arch M & S. I looked RS up online yesterday and found reviews saying that the Bloomsbury branch was small and cramped and that the staff were rude and unhelpful.
I went to M & S because I had been to their technology dept before and so was familiar with it.0 -
All RS branches are small and cramped compared to a department store-that's one of the reasons they are cheap-you are not paying for expensive showrooms. JL is a short walk east from M&S.No free lunch, and no free laptop

I am aware of those and have been to Curry's already but wanted a comparison. I don't have a Richer Sounds near me.
Why do you need to look at the same model in more than one store for a comparison? Model XXXX is the same everywhere, and once you've satisfied yourself that this is the model you want by seeing it operate personally at one location, find the cheapest price online and save yourself a mint.A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove you don't need it.0 -

M & S online had different ones (own brand) with good reviews online but I would still prefer to actually see them.0 -
M&S no-name own brand TV's are rarely good quality, nor are they likely to be repairable once out of warranty. If you want a budget brand go for a Samsung or an LG.No free lunch, and no free laptop
