I don't understand why you won't leave? You're making it very hard for yourself to rent / buy in the future.
I am quite far through the process of buying a property, probably exchanging contracts in a few weeks, also I have two young children.
I can understand how it might make it hard to rent in the future (due to a bad reference), but why would it affect my ability to buy? There is no money claim involved.
I understand that I might end up having to pay court costs (in fact if I move out and don't defend, I think I'll definitely have to pay them), but I don't see how that would affect my credit rating.A second page which is not included ?
That is a very strong thread to pull.
The s21 states "see Note 2 (overleaf)" and "see Note 3 (overleaf)", but there is no "overleaf"Are you planning to leave? at any time in the future?
Yes, hopefully very soon, but I don't know when until we get those contracts exchanged.0 -
Assuming you're in England and the tenancy started after 6/4/2007 - did you pay a deposit and was it protected in a government scheme i.e. mydeposits, DPS etc? Is this listed on the N5b in the appropriate places?0

Yes, I did pay a deposit, which was protected and it does seem to have been listed on the N5B in the right places.0 -
At least they got that bit right - doesn't help you though!0

Even if an eviction order is granted, this would not be registered as a CCJ. And even if a CCJ were granted for a debt, you are allowed to have an honest dispute about a debt and it not go on your credit record. No one should cave and pay off a disputed debt for fear of collecting a CCJ.
Remember, it is only CCJ's which are not complied with within 28 or 30 days which go on the credit record.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
