was offered the z610i with 11.5 mths half price (average £15.63 p/m)
or the k610i with 7 mth free (£12.50 p/m average)
also offered 9 mths free with no phone (but i need a phone as mum is having my old one)

I have always found that it pays to cancel your current contract and sign up for a new one - you get all of the 6month bonus things etc. Have a look at their website and check out quidco for cashback.

  • I also got offered 100 mins and 100 texts free on a 12 month contract with a Sony Ericsson K610i. This was offered on the last but 1 day of my contract with them though. Brill deal though - I took it obviously!

Oh I did not read this post previously. I was offered 11 months free for K610i which I have accepted.

    Phone arrived today.

Is it now possible for me to go 12 months free now?

    Thanks

the 11 months on the 1400 tarriff is a lot better than 12 months on a 100+100 tarriff in my books
  • I've just come off the phone to 3, they are adamant that the 100min/100text deal is no more (and I was happy to take that without a phone), and they could either offer me my current tariff or

500 mins/100 texts for £25 but 9 1/2 months free with option to upgrade at 9 or cancel at 10 months (but a years contract).

or 200/100 plus vid, multimedia & £5 download for the same.

Both without handset upgrades. (oh and he said these were still Jan offers and may be changed any time)

I have another month or so, I think I'll hang out. I wonder why they didn't offer the 100 to me - perhaps he knew its the one I wanted?
