New PC - Fan Noise

    I cant't find this. I have found some information on the graphics card under PC Properties which I found under Control Panel\Hardware and Sound|Devices and Printer - but there doesn't seem to be an option to adjust the speed here. Any ideas where else to look?

    If it isn't already installed, download AMD Catalyst for your graphics card:

    http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

    That should let you adjust the graphics card fan speed profile.

    There's a possibility the fan component is shaking when spinning increasing the noise with additional vibration, It my be a software error but it wouldn't hurt to see if the fan needs a tighter fitting.
