that's awful! do they really think people would think pringles would have originally been over £5?! :rotfl:

I thought that as well, hence why I looked at the small print carefully, I was thinking if they are better than half price it would be over £5.

Pringles are nice but not £5 nice

Are you David Icke by any chance?

    :)
David Icke is just a fraud. I on the other hand am the real thing. I have some small pamphlets explaining it all that I'll happily give to you free of charge. As they are free a small donation is required ;)

If people are stupid enough to care more about the previous price than the current price, then they're numpties.

I can imagine people walking into a shop going, "OMG! Those pens are 98p! I really want them.....but wait, they used to be 99p! That's not a bargain. I no longer want these pens....if only they had previously been £1.50."

I mean, sure, if you've done research on a product and know what the normal market value for one is, like a TV or a car, then knowing how much it is normally elsewhere can be useful when evaluating a bargain.... but PENS? They're an impulse buy. You either want them, or you don't. It just seems stupid that someone would be put off of buying something because its previous price wasn't high enough.
