  • i noticed tesco had some nice matching trousers and jackets, the trousers were around £10 to £15 and the jackets around the £25 mark, there are lots of money off clothing vouchers for tesco at the moment, the green spring time ones, and the ones in the kit packs, so you could get a suit reasonably cheaply by using these, see the coupon thread for more details
dont wait for your boat to come in, get in a dingy and row out to it!!!

Thanks very much for all the replies.

I think I will need a suit due to the type of industry I'm going to be in and as I have helped employers recruit in the past I know that it can do no harm to wear one. It can, however, harm your application if you get an interviewer who cares about that kind of stuff. Can understand what you mean though.

Had a peek in Primark last night but will go and have a proper look tomorrow. Failing that, will try Tesco/Asda at weekend.

Thanks again for all the advice.

Have you got a next clearance near you? I picked up a suit jacket in black from the lime range for £2.00 and trousers also from the lime range for £4.00

    I love a bargain.
