Thats good news Pea, glad they were able and willing to help. xIt’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Evening all

Ok so full update on the bank:
I had a lovely chat with the guy doing my meeting (he'd only been their 6 weeks so his manager came in to help) explained everything and they both said that as it would basically just moving 'bank' debt from one place to the other I should be fine.
After a very nerve racking conversation with the lending department where I thought I was going to be sick
everything went though
:j. They have closed my credit card, so the little *&%# has died
:T and rather than paying out over £660 in debt repayments  and over about 40% interest (over all 3 debts) I've been reduced to £415 and a much healthier interest rate
.
I know re-financing isn't ideal, but it does mean that I will be able to live a life, have some money in savings for my car, birthdays/christmas and also have a savings account so I can over pay the loan
They were both very impressed that I was going to do everything I could to knock some time off the 7 years it's going to take me to pay it back.
I know the debt has only moved into another place, but I feel so much more relieved! And as the early settlement on my 2 old loans was less than it would have been if I'd paid them off in the alloted time, I still have £200 odd left from the loan to go towards my car + plus the £150 I'm going to try and save each month I'm going to be fine on the car repairs
All in all a very happy Pea, who is kind of seeing a light at the end of the tunnel....
You'll keep me company for 7 years right???

Brilliant, and nope I have no intention of being around for 7 years - but then you knew that as you don't plan to leave it so long to pay off.
