I am gong crazy... An ex has sent me nearly a 1000 messages... Its the same message but my phone has honestly received it since last night nealry 1000 times. I can t believe he has sent it this many times. Btw we are on friendly terms..... this is ridiculous, I m with O2 ... Any ideas what I can do. Its obviously completely blocking my phone.

Sound more like a glitch. Call him and ask him to delete any unsent messages. Best guess is it's sending it ok but not marming it an moving it from unsent to sent so continually retrying to send it

There could be an issue with the Message Centre, call your network and they can trace it and take up the issue with the originating network.

Tried the SIM in another phone? Phone O2 and I'm sure they could mass delete everything their end but try and not use your phone for now.

If you're PAYG and not registered you'll have to register obviously and then phone them https://www.o2.co.uk Unfortunately they may want to send you a registration text to open the account.

Phone them and ask first.

Sounds like an SMS bomber to me, my other halfs sister does it to her sometimes when she's got some free messages to burn. Not malicious, just annoying.
