It's all done and was before you even posted :p

I've spent some of this evening making pasta salad for dinner before work tomorrow.

I've also sorted the books my Dad had emailed me a list of so I can get rid of those from my shelf here and keep the small number that weren't on the list. Those ones are packed in boxes which handily are exactly the right size for paperback books. The bookcase looks weird now it has two empty shelves, but I suspect it won't take long for me to refill the shelves with boxes now I've started filling them with things I want to keep.

I should do stuff like that - but what the heck - it's fish and chips day tomorrow... ;)

Or you were late to the party.

    I'm a friendly type ;)

    Much?!? :rotfl:

There are two more shelves of books I haven't read yet, some I'll probably jettison unread as they've been sat there since I first moved here and haven't appealed enough to actually pick up. Others I'll start making an effort to read then decide if they're keepers or ditchers. I've also decluttered a puzzle book, because I've attempted every puzzle in it. Along with a set of windscreen wipers which I thought were new but when I pulled them out of the box to check look dirty so figure they're best off being binned.

Careful rearranging of the DVD's means that I can almost fit all of the ones I plan to keep on to the DVD racks which means if I can get hold of a couple more boxes I can fully empty the shelf unit and dismantle it to send home with whichever of my parents comes to visit in their cars first. Although on reflection I might be better transferring the CD's on to the shelf and getting the CD shelving photographed and up for sale.

If the weather is reasonably dry over the weekend I want to dismantle my patio table so I can put that away in its boxes in the shed - can't see there being many more days where I want to sit out in the garden between now and my moving date.

And another ebay listing done, if it doesnt sell I'll keep relisting til I actually do move then just bin it, along with alot of the other stuff I'm listing at the moment. Still can't quite face dealing with listings for the bigger/more expensive stuff on there but I shall get there eventually.

Briefly wonders which house Nora did her B&E act on last night since mine has no laminate....

B*gger. Though that does explain the lack of counters... must learn to wear gloves when I do this sort of thing *waits for the knock on the door...*

On an aside - I love Finding Nemo! How cool is Dory? Whenever I'm stressed, you can usually hear me singing 'just keep swimming'...:rotfl:And I love the ray-teacher....

*potters off to dig out the DVD for after-work, Friday night, viewing*

I hope you are also a nice shark Nora....

My uni mates once had a three day arguement over which character I was most like Marlin coz I was obsessed by Nemo, Dory because I have a shocking memory or Bubbles because I love bubbles. I'm not sure that was ever actually resolved.

That's probably one of those things that best remains unresolved...

Y'know I would still love to know!

And in semi exciting news I have at least one date next week, I say at least one as I also have a night out planned with an old friend, but this is the first time we've both been single at the same time and our usual banter has gone weirdly flirtatious over the last week or so. So it'll be interesting to see how that night out ends (other than drunk in a gutter which was always the norm among our group of friends previously).

Just logged in to my internet banking, apparently RBS branches are not being sold to Santander now, which is rather nice as it means for the time being my main and my bills accounts will remain at different institutions.

I've also had a mystery shopping payment, so have split the money in to fee and reimbursement, will dispatch the remibursement to the credit card as soon as this months min payment has been taken next week - it's showing as pending so should vanish by monday or tuesday.

And my virgin direct debit has been taken - so the money that was left has been shifted back in to the savings account - the tiny amount of interest it'll earn is better than leaving it in a none interest paying current account.

I also need to check to see who has the best interest rates for the money currently in last years Santander esaver as the promo rate on that expires in a couple of weeks.

    "Weirdly" flirtatious? The mind boggles...

Isn't it good that we call banks "institutions". Like mental hospitals...
