OI I'll have you know am a perfectly good girl. Except with alcohol and erm cute boys, and men in uniform.....luckily last night I was at a female friends house as her hubby is away for the weekend.

The hangover didn't seem to last too long, although it may have been overtaken by the utter boredom of the entire day.

*sigh* I have lots of sympathy for the temptation of alcohol, cute boys and men in uniform....it's lucky they don't go together...oh, wait a minute....

Sadly for me I have to spend alot of time looking at but not touching the latter of my temptations! Which is one very big reason I rarely drink at or around work ;)

Well today started fabulously, opened my nice little collection of cards, and had several lovingly abusive messages from my beloved friends - then got told off my the friend who stayed over night for not telling them it was my birthday today.

Then I went to work and it all went horribly wrong as things are wont to do when you waste a lovely day in work. Turned down an offer of a trip to the pub in favour of cups of tea, OU work and treating myself to takeaway pizza. Then promptly missed the phone call I'd stayed home alone for, and am making zero progress with the OU work.

So took myself off for a bath and allowed myself to have a little pity party while I was in there and am now back trying to study, but I have managed to make a decent payment to the credit card which will take a fair few months off it. :)

Nope, no, nosireebob... *wonders whether she could arrange a 'sorry 'bout that' lineup of gorgeous guys in uniform to arrive on Scuba's doorstep*

:grouphug: Put the books down, honey - I'll bet you know full well that studying simply won't happen if you aren't in the mood...plus you'll just get more hacked off because you aren't managing to do the thing you feel obligated to do. Why not, as it's your birthday, simply have a glass of something nice and do something you enjoy?

because the assignment is due in ohhh 12 hours and its not 'hard' - this one is multiple choice questions - I just dont understand the concepts, for which the only solution is re-reading and making more notes and 'scribbles' which are meant to be the equations in the hope that I'll have a brainwave and the question about the SI units will appear in front of me and I'll actually find the equation which is meant to be represented by the images so I can work out which image is the one to tick.

So far though I've managed to fluff up only one of the four questions I've attempted today which is significantly better than I'd managed the rest of this week!

Ahhh, hmm....ok...let's see if we can help:

    Q1 - A
    Q2 - D
    Q3 - B
    Q4 - B
    Q5 - C
    Q6 - root beer (it's a trick question...)

    Helping? :D

Not in the slightest, but it's about as good as I've managed even with the books and questions to hand. :o
