Assignment one is done and submitted - not sure if it was surprisingly easy or I'd absorbed more of the book than I thought (particularly given I still haven't read the last two chapters) or if I just remembered stuff from studying it at GCSE 10 years ago and then again at AS level 9 years ago. Need to start assignment 2 but struggling with motivation again, so am making a brew and farting around on facebook for a while until I decide I have to get started. I know once I do get going that I have to take a break around 5pm as I've a mystery shop booked which will take me out of the house for at least 2 hours (planning to get the train to go do it). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Assignment 2 also done and submitted today along with two three mile runs to and from the garage, a mystery shop, a phone call to from a ms company to book me some work for tomorrow morning and three bottles of cider consumed. Ploughed through whatever emails were left in my inbox too and for some reason have logged in to toluna for the first time in about 6 months and started on some of their quick polls, will think about doing the other stuff when I have more time - so prob after work or on the next day off I have when I'm meant to be studying.
Was pleasantly surprised at the cost of the service - they quoted me £350 inc parts and labour but the final cost was only £260 as I didn't need some of the consumables changing. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Car is booked in for its MOT on Tuesday, all being well I'll be able to collect it and take a wander to the PO to get the road tax sorted (need to find my insurance docs first obv) which is another annual horror dealt with from the money in my car savings account, leaving in theory whatever is left to cover the insurance when it's due later on it the year - it should be considerably less than the amount saved though meaning I'll be able to take another decent chunk off the credit card.
In the meantime I'm needing to head to my pit as tomorrow morning I'm running 3 miles for sport relief, at a site about an hour from home as I signed up before we moved forgetting that we planned to move south rather than north. Just had to be the night after hour change too didn't....meh.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I did just about arrive on time thanks to it being far too warm for 10am and what felt like a complete lack of sleep I managed the 3 miles in 33:41 - slower than I would have liked but good enough
Now to look up another 3 mile or 5k run to sign up to so I have the motivation to keep running.
Welcome Knitty, sadly over here you'll find considerably fewer Counters than on our diary but I can offer copious cups of tea since I have over a thousand tea bags in the cupboard just now.
Currently busy earning as many Swagbucks as I can before I have to head for work thanks to their current promotion where if you earn a certain target number of bucks you get an additional 10% bonus. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Looks like we found another pub worth regular visits, fantastic food, a lovely beer garden overlooking the local canal and a really nice bottle or two of pink wine later me and my friend staggered home wondering when/why/how it got dark without us noticing. Of course we've had to schedule return visit as tonight was the last day of their winter menu and they had the staff in tasting the new summer menu - whick looked and smelled fantastic as the plates were carried past our table.
Think she'd had a really carpy day for various reasons so am very glad we were able to get out and relax a bit, it's probably going to be one of the main things that gets us both through the next few months.
Not managed to find a run yet which suits, the two I quite fancied were either during the dates I'm going to be on holiday or had entry restrictions which would mean I need to make alot more effort running and possibly even enter a feeder event which quite simply is not going to happen! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

OU assignment results are all in, not as good as I'd like but pretty much what I deserve given the lack of work I was able to put in this month. Still it means I'm a few percent closer to having a pass on the course which is all I need since this one won't count towards my degree classification.
Car is finally sorted out, with assorted slightly broken bits fixed for considerably less than I'd expected it to cost, so just need to hope that my new insurance doc's come through before I go to work on Saturday so I can get my tax disc sorted - irritatingly I can find last years docs and the cover letter for this years but not the actual schedule of insurance for this year, although I plan to spend much of tomorrow looking for them as if I can dig them up I can go buy it and then pay a nice big chunk off the credit card - at least £450. Which will naturally take a few months off the time left to get it paid off. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Yay. Found my current insurance docs so have managed to walk to the local PO and have a shiney new tax disc ready for the 1st of the month. Of course I've dumped all the assorted old docs in to my box of paper work which needs shredding and as soon as the new set of docs turn up (finally changed my address with them) the current set will make their way in to the box too.
I've also posted the direct debit form to pay the council tax, need to pay the April installment separately but can do that in a couple of days when I've double checked the balance in the current account. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Too much enjoying myself in the pub = last place in the quiz, and a monster hangover which is only just clearing itself up. On the upside the last person to leave the house to head home this morning looked like they were suffering far worse than I was when I saw them on my way out of work tonight - and they're on a night shift :rotfl:It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
