Today I got one of those money boxes that you can't get into unless you open it with a tin opener, thought it was perfect for this challenge so I don't get tempted to dip into it (and only cost £1 in the sales!), so currently got £2 sat in there, can't wait to open it on December 1st to find over £300 in there

It's so simple but a great idea! I'll be starting today. It'll be a minimum of £1 a day but if I can I'll be putting anywhere up to £5 away in a day. Might treat myself and my partner to a holiday at christmas if it all works out My problem comes with seeing a decent amount sat in a big bottle - have to try not to cave!

Brilliant idea, however I don't think it would really work for me.

I have never got cash on me so would never have a £1 coin to put in there every day.
