Sky Multiroom - can I buy a better box?

Hello,
I have had sky mulitiroom put in, using a new Sky+HD box downstairs with the new card, and my old basic box (fnar) upstairs. the upstairs one has the twin cable feed to it.
If I buy a Sky+ box off ti'nterweb to replace the basic one, will it work? I'd quite like to be able to record things on that TV too you see.
Thanks in advance x

"It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that, I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it comin'."

Yes, just need to have your viewing card paired with the "new" Sky+ box.0
-
Or even a HD one - some of the HD channels are free.0
