    Never, ever in 30 + years had problem with fridge/freezers and had a few due to house moves, renting out a property and also at my business. Never bought top of the range ones either, just your average bog-standard ones. They've always just sat in the corner and done their job until they've died of very old age!

    Wish I could say the same about your average mid-range washing machine!
