phone contract comeing to an end...

next month, im on 02 at the moment and its costing me a bomb what sort of deal can i look for need about 500 texts. if i upgrade on o2 will they offer me a new phone and a better contract?

Have a look around in rival shops and online sites to see what deals are available then when you can upgrade tell O2 you saw X phone with X many minutes and text per month for X can you beat it or match it to keep my custom ?.

You will easily find out if they are "bothered" about keeping your custom or not. Once you know, you can stay with them or if they offer nothing then just request your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) and switch to a network offering you a better deal.
