Hi iv seen a ad for homecall offering broadband and free landline calls for £24.99 a month
512 kbps
free modem+connection
free web space free email
unlimeted usage
can any one tell me if this is a good deal or not you can get line rental of them for £9.99 i think so that would be £35 for lot all you need to pay extra for is mobils and i think the tarrif is cheaper than bt so any help would be great thanks .

Pike25, that deal is an excellent one. You get free calls any time of the day with that one, but probably there is a time limit, ie 60 min or something but I am not sure. I was going to go for this deal, got a bt engineer booked to come and reconnect me and everything, then when I called telewest to cancel, they ended up offering me the same deal for the same price. Fortunately I had all the info to hand, cos I think if they thought you were trying in on they would not do it. Just goes to show that you can get them to lower their prices but you have to threaten to leave first.
