Great Cheapest Valentines Roses Hunt

I bought my partner a bunch of red roses for Valentine's day from Asda a couple of years ago. He was chuffed! They were all dead by Feb 15th! I had to trek all the way back to the shop (20 mins walk and a half an hour bus journey each way) for a refund and then go and find him an alternative present. I had hoped that that Asda would operate their flower delivery service better than they do in their shops, but it seems not judging from the responses here! I'd steer clear of Asda for flowers, even if it does seem a good deal at the time - it's no good ending up with a dead or delayed present (or both)! When shops screw up like this, it really spoils what was meant to be a lovely Valentine's Day surprise.0

Tesco - £19.39
Debenhams - last order day 2.30pm 13 Feb £25
Bunches Flowers - £29.99
Sainsburys - £19.50
Interflora - £45
Hang on - Interflora do them for £19.99! See Interflora £19.99 Roses
That makes them about as cheap as supermarket flowers! I know which my missus would prefer. In fact I think if I got her an asda's bouquet she'd beat me round the head with them0 -
The interflora offer at £19.99 is sold out, what a con ! they just try to get you to the site and direct you to the main page where the roses are a fortune. As I said earlier I use a company called https://www.freshisbest.co.uk I have rung them today on their freephone 08001691044 and they will deliver on valentines day itself unlike most of the other companies who apparentley wont guarantee delivery on the 14th !0

Hi everyone
Personal recommendations I have for flowers not just for valentines day
Valueflora - sent 6 bunches of flowers through them to different people for different reasons - all feedback was wow ! roses i sent as a thankyou came individually wrapped in tissue , with free choccies . Orchids I sent as a miss you lasted 4 weeks in a hot nursing home! You can link through from rpoints to get 3% (from memory?) cashback , you earn petal points if you register with them (to get money off future purchases) and they email you with codes for further discounts and freebies. They accept paypal (which is brill coz I dont have plastic), plastic and cheques .
Sainsbury's - flowers bought from store last for over a week in even adverse conditions- very impressed. Don't know whether they deliver or not?
The real flower company -http://www.realflowers.co.uk/- (i hope i am allowed to put that? )- last orders online is monday . these guys I first discovered at a local farmers market , they sell Proper Scented Old English Roses . They are something very impressive I have to say , we bought a herb and rose bouquet for an elderley reletive in a nursing home , and the smell filled the whole wing for a week ! They are not the cheapest but are certainly the best if you want to impress!! (hope hubby reads this?)Started my own business and loving being my own boss

As with others, I too have had a bad experience with flowers delivery from Asda which led me to buy roses from Marks and Spencers last year. The best decicion I have made, so my wife tells me
The roses that arrived were really good quality and they lasted for well over a week.
I have already ordered my 12 roses for £19.50 for Wednesday.http://www.marksandspencer.com/IWCatSectionView.process?IWAction=Load&Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=11261&Page_Count=1&RestartFlow=t0
