Have Playtrade stolen my £1300 ?

    Ok so rang them at 2pm and they said a supervisor will call me up within 4 hours and that my account is being updated and it will take 2 hours for this to update. And neither of these things have happened. Looks like I'll be ringing up again tomorrow !

    Why be clever ? I joined this forum for advice. Don't you think ive tried chasing my money ? What am I doing now? If they had simple rules and told me exactly what to do maybe there would be no chasing ? :mad:

    Dont go shouting for the supervisor first. Stay calm, clear and patient. You have everything to gain.

    Ok , so i just called them.

    "your account needs to be put forward for investigation and you will be notified as soon as you can log back on"

    So i asked how long and they couldnt give me a time.

    Should i just wait ? as ive never had a single reply/email from them.

    I read the play terms and conditions and the longest they can hold my funds is 90days from the last transaction(28th november), so after this will my money be sent straight to my bank account ?

    I don't think you have any choice but to wait it out. They clearly think something dodgy is going on with your account, even though there isn't. It has been flagged up somewhere as 'suspect' and its been frozen.

    No amount of calls or emails will make them complete their 'investigation' any quicker.

    They will most likely contact all your recent customers, asking if they have received their purchase. After they get a good few 'yes we are happy' emails, they will release the funds to you. You can always try to encourage some more feedback, it will help.
