Boosters - a year from first or second vaccinations???

The exact year date would be from the second vaccination, but like I say its just a booster so you can easily have a jab a couple of months either side so shouldn't matter.0

Mine have their boosters annually, but there are certain vaccines out now that do not have to be done every year, but rather every three years. If this type has been used, it should stand as up to date for visits to the cattery, though there might be some debate as this is not widely known (as shown by the debate here), so if I was in this position, I'd be talking to the cattery owner in advance and asking them to consult with the vet if needed.

In answer to gettingready, yes it is the date of the second jab and although there is a bit of leeway, I always try to get mine done in the same month of that anniversary as I'd rather not risk it - my Harry cat once became quite poorly just before his booster was due; I will never know if his illness could have been prevented if he had been vaccinated a bit earlier.0

lol... tell me about it! We are going away for a few days over New Year (to Paris
) and I have to take 5 cats (approx 23kg in total) spread amongst three carriers, plus toys, play cube and various other bits to the cattery  But I am fortunate in that I do have a car to transport all that lot in :rotfl: 0 -
2 busses each way.. and a bit of walk in between- sigh....0

Ohhhh GR (((hugs))) I've woken up with a terrible cold today too
- just my luck to get it when I'm off work (although it's so horrible outside I don't think I'd have been going anywhere anyway... but not the point!:))
Good luck taking your hoard for the jabs ....
I really must look into the 3 yearly jabs - ours are now up to £49.85 for their annual booster:eek: which is getting onto be a lot of money.....Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
