Sorry but this is a bad idea. A security guard or even 2 security guards couldn't take on 12 guys. Besides imagine how guilty you'd feel if you asked them to get involved and then you watched them get murdered in front of you, a very real possibility given the circumstances.

Maybe it's because I live in London but I'd think it more likely that they'd be carrying knives than not. Apparently 2 people were stabbed, 1 to death on Oxford street on boxing day during the sales so it seems the volume of people wouldn't stop them either.
